Mother’s Day Worksheets grades K-2

Mother’s day worksheets, to get your little homeschooler into the holiday of honoring mom and learning at the same time! It’s a win-win!

Congratulations! We have made it to May! That means spring has fully sprung and it’s time to honor your favorite person, mom. As well as having your little ones appreciate what you do for them every day.

It’s even more of a superpower now that we are all in quarantine together and can’t ship them off to their grandparents, school, or daycare anymore. Can I just pee by myself? The answer is no, no you cannot. So, let’s give you something to use in this era of forced homeschooling and distance education. These mother’s day worksheets will give you some peace and quiet for a millisecond.

If you are anything like me, we are now on locking ourselves in the bathroom to eat chocolate on a bi-weekly schedule. With this worksheet, you might not even have to lock the door! Emphasis on might. If nothing else it will let your heart sing when you see what your little angel has done for you.

These are K-2 level mother’s day worksheets, require writing, drawing, and math skills. It’s a bundle of worksheets that you can use all day. I will also have a printable card next week, so stay tuned for that if you would like to send an E-card to your own mom. If you want it sooner you can check out my one from last year. Or if you have a baby you can use my baby footprint art from the year before.

Without further ado let’s get to the printables!

I did three that were writing based, two that are math-based, and one that is color by numbers. All that have a theme of mother’s day. I tried to keep the stuff simple so it might be too easy for some kiddos. I am sure there are more complicated ones out there if you need that. Like I have said before my girls are more on the pres-school level and this is a bit about there level to do independently.

They can complete them with help, which is sometimes nice to do especially if you are asking the questions of what does mommy like, or do, or what is mommy like. You can get some really cute answers from any child who is of speaking age.

Identifying the number to the color and using the appropriate one demonstrates knowledge of the number and recognition of it. A simple concept but it’s very important and kid’s don’t even know they are doing it!
