Allergy Friendly Menu’s

How many times have you asked the waiter/waitress about allergen information? You get a deer in the headlights look followed by the pug head tilt.

Yeah I know, I have been there.

Having a manager, cook, and server parade to your table just so your meal doesn’t hurt you or your baby is embarrassing. I don’t know why, but I would rather know what I can and cannot get. Of course, you should let your server know about the allergies as well. Just for confirmation and cross-contamination purposes.

So I have been saving some allergen menus to put together a convenient place for me to look and see what I can have where. Unfortunately, there are not tons of options for me, but eating out has become a treat since this all happened. Read about that on this page. So we are saving money, and probably eating healthier anyways.

Also with us being in a rural area, a big selection is just not available. Although we have more than we did when I was a child, we still don’t have the benefits of a major city around us. So here are the allergen information Menus I have collected so far.

These are all the menu’s I could find.

Unfortunately, some places just don’t provide them online. Or will only provide a gluten-free menu only. Those places don’t have my business, but I understand why they might fear to put one out there and not having a restaurant not follow it.
