Mama Llama Mother’s Day Card

Mother’s day is tomorrow guys! If you aren’t prepared (like me usually) print out this free, funny, and yet pretty mama llama mother’s day card.

At mama of the drama we love celebrating mamas (duh) so mother’s day is always a big deal. You can check out all the mother’s day posts here. This year to celebrate mother’s day we are using free printable cards, and sleeping in with breakfast in bed.

All moms are unique and have a different way of being. Some are mama bears that are fierce and protect their cubs at any cost. They are aggressive from the get-go, show their teeth and stand on their hind legs to let you know not to mess with them. This card is for the mama llamas. They are pretty chill but can pack a mean punch if you mess with their kids. Equally frightening to someone who might harm those little ones.

I got this idea from a meme I saw a little while ago and I decided that a card would be a wonderful way to commemorate this. Fun fact, while I was a teenager I called my mother mama llama all the time. It made her giggle, so I loved calling her it. I would sign her cards with it and I would text her using that name.

So, when I saw that meme a little bit ago it just brought back all those fond memories that I had with my mom. Now you can have those memories with your mom or loved one you are celebrating on mother’s day.

I am a mama llama!

My parenting style, in general, is pretty chill. I am a major proponent of gentle parenting and you need to try to be chill when you parent in that style. Not that I am some kind of saint that never yells or loses my cool. I try my best to not though.

The moment I stop being chill though is if you mess with my kids. I have gotten great at advocating for my children as things have come up in their life. From a terrible daycare to a bad pediatrician, to having a child with special needs in the public school system. All of that requires advocating for your child. If I have experience with anything, it’s this. I would be lying if I said I was comfortable with being confrontational in any way shape or form but I had to for my babies.

So I would probably be best described as a mama llama as well. This card prints best as a 5 X 7 image so if you want to put that into your printer you can. Or you can print out 2 on a regular 8.5 X 11 piece of paper and cut them out. I like to use premium cardstock to print out my cards but you can use regular photo paper.
